On Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2, Castelfidardo will be transformed into a time machine: the eagerly awaited historical reenactment Tracce di Ottocento returns for its tenth edition. This event doesn’t just celebrate the past—it brings it to life with intensity, passion, and authenticity.

The streets of the historic center will be animated by over 500 participants in period costumes, itinerant performances, encounters with historical figures, and artisan workshops. Each district will present themed setups, traditional games, and creative workshops, recreating everyday scenes from the 19th century: from peasant departures on a cart, to the silk trade, and even suitcases of memories.

The two traditional Pali, Acqua and Piccoli, will see neighborhoods compete with color, enthusiasm, and tradition. For the curious, treasure hunts, guided tours, and historical exhibitions will offer a fascinating cultural perspective. And in the evening? Live folk music, dancing under the stars, and typical dishes prepared as in the old days. The atmosphere will be enhanced by artistic lighting and paper flowers, in a setting where every detail reflects meticulous historical research.
