La Costarella is one of the oldest streets of Numana, built to connect the upper side of the small town with the portual area. It consists of a rather steep stairway at the sides of which a double line of picturesque houses made with the local limestone (pietra del Conero) were once inhabited by fishermen.
When you visit this street, don't forget to bring your camera, you will certainly catch some enchanting postcard-like shots.
